Who won? And who got in the best shots on the other?
St. Louis Post-Dispatch
So here’s the fundamental question: Who won? Who got the best shots in when debating the issues? Was was the tone and tenor of the debate?
Post your vote in the scorecards below and discuss:

One more thing… Palin and McCain do say they would try to clean up Washington and Wall Street from the massive corruption and greed, but those words DO NOT come out of Biden or Obama’s mouth…HMMMMMM?
90% of Americans are idiots and the lobbyists and special interest groups know this. These vaudevillian shows are just put on to fill the empty space in the idiots heads. These “candidates” are just there to put forth the views already instilled in them by their masters. They will say whatever it takes to get elected but have ZERO intention of doing any of what they say. Both sides have a clear agenda of serving Israel’s goals of world domination and to continue the money flow to Tel Aviv with yours and your children’s labor.
I know I will get a lot of grief for this but . . . what is the deal with everyone coming down so hard on Palin? The SNL spoofs, etc. If they pulled that crap about Obama on SNL, everyone would be screaming racist. But since she is a woman, it is like it is a free-for-all on her. Face it people, change is coming whether you like it or not!!
Palin spoke to the viewers as if we were in grade school. She is not qualified to be President and I think we’ve had it with the nation electing someone running on the “Washington Outsider” premise. Haven’t we learned it’s not a good idea to elect someone we “would want to have a beer with”?
Joe Biden did an excellent job refuting each one of her attacks and at the end she didn’t have a rebuttal for Biden’s final attacks. I thought she was just wanting it over at the end because she was being exposed for what she is which is a phony. How is she an expert on energy policy just because her state has natural gas and oil reserves?
Personally, I’m glad Sarah Palin is relatively “new” to all of this. She has not been corrupted by all of the politicians and BS in this country. She is refreshing and her pockets have not been padded by all the big companies and their big dollars!!! Let’s face it, the longer you’re in the rat race, the more hardened you get. She reminds me of someone like you and I who honestly wants what is best for our families. Give her a break!!!!
The United States is finished on the world stage. Time to pull out the hook. These other postings are validation of this post.
There’s no doubt the Obama express is in full gear devising several strategies to embarass and discredit Governor Palin after her superb performance during the debate. With regards to your poll question inquiring if (we the people) believed Governor Palin or Senator Biden were mean or warm during their debate. Who came up with that ridiculous question? Regardless, Governor Palin proved to everyone last night that she is confident and capable for the position of vice president and president if need be.
Sarah Palin is “someone like me”? I think not, and it’s insulting to me and millions of other Americans that I would be lumped in with an overwhelmed piece of John McCain “arm candy”.
I will admit she is probably a very nice person. She prepared well for the debate, exceeding expectations and appearing to read from her script. However, when expectations are for a train wreck and you avoid it, ANYTHING appears to be a success. When faced with questions, and relatively simple ones on the record of her running mate and even her choice of READING MATERIAL, she failed miserably. Is Sarah Palin qualified to be Vice President, or God forbid, PRESIDENT? I think not.
What I would say to Sarah: Go back to the hockey games, ask the library to ban more books, field dress a moose, root on Todd in his snow machine races and more importantly as a “family values” person go take care of your children because your daughter Bristol, in her situation, certainly has to need you more than America does…but DO NOT insult the intelligence of Americans by saying you are ready to be Vice President or President.
Is Obama and Biden the best choice America has right now?
To borrow a line from the “Eskimo Pie” herself: You betcha!
Wow! Because Palin did NOT completely make a fool of herself people think she won this debate???? I admit she held her own pretty well but she did not answer one question. I thank her letting us know she was the governor of an energy producing state and she supports nuke-u-lar energy.
She proved nothing.
Did anyone catch Sarah Palin when she called Biden “O’Biden?” He got a chuckle out of that!
