Do you remember the first time you bought something online?
For me, it was a book on Amazon.com and it must have been a decade ago, if not more. I vividly remember being terrified of putting my credit card number out there and giving all that personal information. I also remember thinking that I was being irrational. I’d never heard of problems and never had any problems buying by mail or by catalog over the phone.
I don’t remember what book I bought.
Finally, I remember the exceptional customer service, which continues on most of my online purchasing experiences. I’ve since bought lots of stuff on many different web sites — everything from grilling equipment to music to software to clothes.

How much online buying do you do? Do you remember your first experience with it? Any horror stories?
