What a week!
Thanks to all the Bird watchers and Bird keepers (especially Erica Smith) for getting us through our roller coaster first week of The Bird’s Nest. May the weather be good for you this weekend, while we in the Nest think of some more fun to throw at you in week # 2.
Dan Martin has been designer and illustrator at the Post-Dispatch for over 27 years. In addition to sketching everything from mob trials to the World Series, he draws the weekly comic strip "Postcard from Mound City" and, for the past 22 years, the daily front page Weatherbird.
