For years, people have said gardening is cathartic. Urban Seeds is a 3-year-old program that oversees 170 community gardens in the city, including one between Market and Pine streets that is tended by St. Patrick Center clients. The parallels between building a garden and rebuilding a life are not lost on the program’s administrators or participants.
