Eldon-native Chris Cantwell’s 69-foot 2.5-inch “toss” earned him the silver medal in shot put. (Did you notice that the track and field events and the opening ceremonies are held in the “Bird’s Nest”?)I know of one not-quite-good-enough Bird line suggestion: Heavy medal.
