That’s right: We’re giving you control over what the Weatherbird says. At 5 p.m. today, I will post potential Bird lines from our clever copy editors. Then you get to vote on which one will appear in print. The fun starts today — spread the word!
The Dow fell 777 points on Monday — the largest single-day drop — over concerns about the bailout plan. The House of Representatives voted “no” to the $700 billion plan, and will reconvene on Thursday. President Bush will make an announcement about the plan this morning. Take a look at a timeline of how we got here in the first place.
