Could Missouri be the Florida of the 2000 election? (You remember hanging chads, right?)

Voter turnout is expected to be high on Nov. 4, and since the state doesn’t have an early voting system, that’s a lot of people to get through the polls in 13 hours on Tuesday.

Pew Center for the States, a non-partisan group, lists Missouri one of 11 states where voters may have more trouble at the polls. A Post-Dispatch analysis found wide disparities where equipment, workers and ballots are placed. All that could make for an interesting Election Day.

Let’s practice by voting on what the Weatherbird should say:

What should the Weatherbird say?

  • Ballot boxing (32%, 20 Votes)
  • Wait training (29%, 18 Votes)
  • Touch and go (17%, 11 Votes)
  • Ballot issues (13%, 8 Votes)
  • The voting rite (10%, 6 Votes)

Total Voters: 63
