The $700 billion bailout was supposed to restore investors’ confidence and jump-start the banking system. But jitters abounded today in the markets worldwide, and the Dow dipped to close below 10,000.

Buy-Buy Birdie. Isn’t a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush. And if the $700 billion does work, wouldn’t the early bird catch the worm? In the end, if all does not work, you can always just flip them the bird….
