We have faced floods, foreclosures, job losses, and public and private tragedies this year. And while families and friends will gather across the St. Louis region today to feast and give thanks, some have more to be thankful for than others.

With adversity often comes perspective. We asked residents who have faced hardship this year to talk about what’s happened since, and how they still count their blessings. But first, let’s find out what the Weatherbird has to say about Thanksgiving.

What should the Weatherbird say?

  • Eat, drink and be thankful (45%, 25 Votes)
  • Bounty and blessings (21%, 12 Votes)
  • Thanks and full (16%, 9 Votes)
  • Now thank we … (14%, 8 Votes)
  • Appreciation day (5%, 3 Votes)

Total Voters: 56

Erica,
Good luck on this Thanksgiving Weatherbird thing. I’m afraid I don’t like any of the choices. How about: “Thank you God for what we have”? Opps, did I offend anyone???
