For employees, A-B InBev layoffs a bitter brew

Anheuser-Busch InBev announced yesterday it will cut 1,400 salaried jobs, 415 contractor positions and 250 open positions. More than 1,000 of those jobs are in St. Louis, and will focus on engineering, information technology and corporate positions. InBev is known for cutting costs, and said there were many redundancies between its operation and recently acquired A-B.
