Now for the east of it on Highway 40

Remember how antsy everyone was before the first half of Highway 40 closed? It turned out to not be a huge deal — perhaps because we were prepared. On Dec. 15, the western half of the project will reopen, and the eastern half will close. But the Missouri Department of Transportation is concerned because you don’t seem very concerned about it yet. Should we be? Or are we just driving less?
