On Hwy. 40, the party’s over

The western half of Highway 40 — from I-170 to I-270 — has reopened, and the eastern half — from Kingshighway to I-170 — has closed. Hundreds showed up Sunday to celebrate the new portion of the highway (send your photos, too!); even more will be re-routed today by the new detours. Watch our site for the latest Highway 40 news.
