Brett Hull makes the Hall of Fame. What’s the Bird’s call?
Brett Hull, the St. Louis Blues’ all-time leading goal-scorer, was notified today that he will be inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in ceremonies Nov. 9 in Toronto. Hull, now 44, scored 741 goals in 20 years in the NHL, No. 3 on the all-time list behind Wayne Gretzky (894) and Gordie Howe (801). He scored 527 goals in 11 seasons with the Blues.
Hull, nicknamed the “Golden Brett,” and his dad Bobby Hull, the “Golden Jet,” inducted in 1983, will become the first father-son combination in the Hall’s history.
Hull, who played with the Blues, Dallas, Detroit, Calgary and Phoenix, will not have to pick a team to represent in the Hall. He won Stanley Cups with Dallas and Detroit.
Steve Yzerman, Brian Leetch and Luc Robitaille were also chosen for induction.

Well, he’s better go into the Hall as a Blue! He scored over 500 goals with the Blues, and is the St. Louis Blues’ best player ever!
Hockey Players don’t go into the hall w/ a team jersey or any markings indicative of a team. Its just the player
Wonder if he and Adam Oaks are still in the home nursing business? Hmmm
Brett deserves it! I wonder if he will also join Bobby at the legends sports challenge? that would be a fun game to watch.
The Golden Brett and Golden Jet are definitely the best father/son duo in sports. I’ve watched every game Bobby and Brett Hull have played in. They both deserve their spots in the HHOL. They are legends in my book. I can’t wait to see Bobby take down other sports legends at that poker tournament he’ll be playing in. I need to get a ticket to that.
