What’s the Weatherbird say about closing post office branches here?
St. Louis Post-Dispatch
The Postal Service is hoping to make ends meet by closing branches around the country. Wednesday, it announced that it had trimmed the number of branches that might close in the St. Louis area to nine — five in the City of St. Louis and four in St. Louis County. (The previous list of local branches under consideration numbered 38.) A spokeswoman says the Postal Service hasn’t decided that any of the nine will definitely close or when that might occur. But she said nothing will happen before Oct. 2.
