What should the Weatherbird say about the King Bridge shutdown?
St. Louis Post-Dispatch
Motorists who normally drive over the Martin Luther King Bridge will be detoured for much of the next two weeks. The King Bridge has been closed to traffic in both directions through Oct. 24.
In an effort to make the bridge safer, it will reopen with a new concrete barrier separating eastbound and westbound lanes. One of the old westbound lanes will be eliminated.
