What’s the Weatherbird say about Sarah Palin penning her memoirs?
Sarah Palin kicked off a 14-state tour to tout her political memoirs — “Going Rogue” — with an appearance Monday on “The Oprah Winfrey Show.”
Jane Henderson, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch’s book editor, writes in a front-page story for Tuesday’s paper that Palin hopes the book pays off financially and politically. The latter is no sure bet, a number of political science experts told Henderson.
Memoirs seem to be the hot thing: Rod Blagojevich’s and Ted Kennedy’s are in bookstores now; George W. Bush and Dick Cheney are on deck.

Steve Parker is the deputy managing editor for news, and oversees the Post-Dispatch's front page. STLtoday's online news editors are on his newsroom team. Parker has been at the paper since September 1980.
How about, “Belongs in the Fiction Section”
Mr. P, get some professional therapy for that Sarah Palin thing you’ve still got going on.
