073108They’re selling beer at the Bond County Fair — for the first time (legally) in 60 years. Evidently the town of Greenville is dry, although there’s a petition circulating that could put that issue on the ballot.

080108Missouri’s school test results also came out this week, and they’re looking good. In fact, sixth-, seventh- and eighth-graders are doing better than ever. (On the flip side, elementary and high school students scores weren’t quite as positive.) You can still see how your student did.
