R&B singer Charlie Wilson, coming to the Ambassador

Four years ago, Craig Spruill was forced to close down the Ambassador concert venue and banquet hall in Northland Plaza to make room for a new retail development.

Now he has it up and running…

Concert announcement: FoxyFest at Forest Park

Radio station WFUN-FM (Foxy 95.5) is bringing in old school funk staples the Dazz Band and the Bar-Kays for the station’s debut R&B/soul food festival, FoxyFest.

It’s Sept. 13 at Langenberg Field near the Dwight Davis Tennis Center in Forest Park.
