The first MOONFest 2009 is tonight at the new Moonrise Hotel in the Delmar Loop, appropriately celebrating the 40th anniversary of man’s first walk on the moon.

Live in the Loop, featuring local artists performing at the Cucina Courtyard in the Delmar Loop, are Sundays through Aug. 16.
Admission is $5, and benefits children in visual and performing art classes at COCA.
