Alicia Keys cancels shows this week but Sunday at Scottrade is a go
Is Alicia Keys’ new tour coming apart at the seams?
We won’t go so far as to say that, but it’s a bumpy first week. First support act Jordin Sparks canceled some dates this month because of vocal problems. Now we learn Keys herself canceled the Pittsburgh and Cleveland stops of her “As I Am” tour this week because of swollen vocal chords, according to a J Records rep.
Keys is currently under doctors’ care, and is expected to return to the stage Saturday in Columbus.
She’s scheduled for the Scottrade Center on Sunday, so we’re hoping for a speedy recovery. This is one concert we don’t want to miss. Keys never fails to entertain.
Ne-Yo, who is also on the tour, is presumably feeling just fine.
