How lucky that STL gets to have this “mega hoosier” grace us with his presence. The only thing more irritating and stale than his hokey music is his asinine political views.

Only in America could a sh**-kicker like this sell millions of records AND be adored by his redneck fans while multi-talented musicians like The Dixie Chicks get blacklisted for voicing their opinions (which BTW most of the American public now shares). He is pure White Trash America at its worst.

patrick: It’s simple math - each act performs 20 minutes with a 30-minute break between!

A “Hell-Raiser Super Saver”? Do I need to present my Hell-Raiser membership card? That sounds like just the kind of crowd I want around me at a show - people who are rewarded for being hell-raisers.

Wow! You all sound so bitter about this show, especially Reality Bites! Toby Keith is a performer and if you don’t like him or his music, this is America - don’t go! BTW, I don’t think everyone in America agrees with the Dixie Chicks. I agree they have the right to speak their mind and I’ll respect that right, but I don’t need them or any *celebrity* for that matter to speak for me or tell me their political opinions. I’m paying money to hear them sing not monologue….

justsurfing–thanks for proving my point…almost 70% of Americans think the invasion of Iraq was a mistake. And actually it was Natalie Maines–NOT the Dixie Chicks who basically echoed that sentiment when it was NOT a popular one to state. My point (which I admit wasn’t stated well) was that they were demonized by the country-western community and good ole boy TK was the main perpetrator. He linked them with Sadaam (asinine and retarded connection with no basis in reality)and made horribly hateful and un-Christian remarks about them simply because they had an opinion different from his.

But I really should be focusing on his lame-ass lyrics and lack of talent instead of his politics–that is reason enough to avoid him like the plague.
