St. Louis Walk of Fame welcomes Cedric the Entertainer
Cedric the Entertainer is the latest name added to the St. Louis Walk of Fame. He’ll be inducted at 11 a.m. June 7 at 6166 Delmar, across the street from the Pageant.
This will technically be the first star in the City of St. Louis portion of the Delmar Loop.
The ceremony will take place for 15 minutes, and a ragtime band will perform.
Cedric the Entertainer, a.k.a. Cedric Kyles, is a Berkeley High School graduate seen in movies such as “Barbershop,” “Be Cool,” “Johnson Family Vacation,” and “The Original Kings of Comedy.”
Max Starkloff, who founded Paraquad, will be inducted June 20. He’ll also be inducted in the St. Louis portion of the Loop.

Kevin C. Johnson has covered the St. Louis' music and nightlife scene for the past decade.
I know it’s not a contest but I feel Cedric should have gotten a star before Nelly. Will Chief Sherman George get a star soon?
