Sugar lounge set for grand opening Saturday
Sugar, the companion lounge to café/wine bar Solace, 1405 Washington Avenue, has its official grand opening at 10 a.m. Saturday.
Free VIP admission is for those to respond to rsvp@sugarstlouis.com. Complimentary Grey Goose samples will be given out from 10 p.m. to midnight.
Prepping for her residency at Sugar is DJ Lady J, who carries the tagline “DJ-ing just got sexier.”
Owner Doug Nguyen promises something intimate and elegant with Sugar.
Last month, Alive magazine presented a preview of Sugar in which club-goers got a first look at the lounge.
Sugar and Solace are holed up in the spot once known as KYO, though most remnants of KYO, including most of the former management, are gone.
