Algebra’s not by the numbers at Old Rock House
Algebra can either be one of the trickiest subjects in school, or the name of a new neo-soul singer.
The latter Algebra is coming to Old Rock House, 1200 South 7th Street, for the next Suite Soul Spot at 8 p.m. Tuesday.
The Atlanta singer, an underground soul favorite, recently released her “Purpose” CD. “I don’t want to be boxed,” she says of her music, which explores different hues of soul.
Big Brooklyn Red and Robert Dillard are also performing at Suite Soul Spot. Enoch is Real will spin. Tickets are $10.
