Concert update: Busta Rhymes added to Projekt Revolution with Linkin Park at Verizon Wireless

Rock festival Projekt Revolution with Linkin Park has added some hip-hop to its main stage with Busta Rhymes.
The tour comes to Verizon Wireless Amphitheater at 2 p.m. Aug. 21.
The addition of Busta Rhymes makes sense; Linkin Park is featured on his next single, “We Made It,” from Busta Rhymes’ upcoming ”Blessed” CD.
Earlier this season, Linkin Park’s Mike Shinoda spoke on the decision, at that time, to not feature rap acts for the second consecutive year.
“I think maybe in the future we’ll have some more hip-hop artists back on the bill, but last year and this year we didn’t find the right rap groups to put on the show. There weren’t any that we felt would mix well with everything,” he says. “I think this is a really diverse bill, as far as rock goes.”
Apparently there was a change of heart.
The tour also features Chris Cornell, 10 Years, Armor for Sleep, Atreyu, the Bravery, Hawthorne Heights, and more.
Tickets are $20.75-$70.75, available through Ticketmaster outlets.

Busta Rhymes??? I mean he has definitely made some music in the past that I have enjoyed very much, but unless I have been sleeping under a log, which is very much possible…lol…has he come out with a CD in recent years, that would be reason for him to be coming to concert? If so, I need to get in the stores and check it out!
