I will be there!!! BJ Rice should be the winner in my opinion, but I look forward to hearing the other finalists as well.

Although I didn’t have the pleasure of attending all of the competitions, I was in town to see the performances on May 30. If all of the finalists have the total package that Kimyetta Huffman had the night I was there, then everyone will be in for a great show!

I saw the last competition before the finale, as well as the final at The Loft on 06/27/08. Ronata Johnson was compleletely robbed! I swear those judges had to have been paid off. First Ronata had to compete in a tie-breaker for the final slot to advance to the finale. After winning the tie-breaker she performed beautifully, a capella mind you, in the finale. How could the judges absolutely praise her performance, commending her decision to give it to us a capella then not even allow her to place in the competion. Shame on those judges for jumping on the bandwagon of mediocre shower singers hamming it up to the crowd, while allowing true God-given talent to fall by the wayside.
