Foo Fighters’ arena-ready rock ready for Scottrade Sunday
It looks as if Foo Fighters fans are in for quite the treat come Sunday night at the Scottrade Center.
A recent concert review from the Seattle Times laid out the concert as a must-see.
“After 13 years, Foo Fighters have found their place in the sun. It’s their time to shine. Dave Grohl and company have reached the pinnacle of arena-rock success, and they’re reveling in it.
“Their packed, powerful show was a full-on, state-of-the-art, pull-out-all-the-stops, rock ‘n’ roll summertime party, with all the lights, video screens, screaming fans, and the whole nine.”
That whole nine would include catwalks, a satellite stage, and audience sing-alongs.
Tickets for the 7 p.m Sunday show at Scottrade with Supergrass and Year Long Disaster are $22.50-$42.50, available through Ticketmaster.

Kevin C. Johnson has covered the St. Louis' music and nightlife scene for the past decade.
Any word on Dave’s health and voice. The FF cancelled two shows in CO earlier this week.
The show tonight was amazing. A three hour set and was absolutely one of the finest concerts I have ever been too. If you have never seen them in concert and get the opportunity do take it. My wife is not even that big of a FF fan and she was up dancing and having a grand time and said it was an awesome show.
This had to have been the best show to come through St. Louis this year. Awesome!
Nick, you’re an idiot. A little band called Radiohead was here in May.
E…your not an idiot for stating an opinion. Nick, I would pick the Foo Fighters show over Radiohead too.
e - The Radiohead show was terrible (my opinion).
