Nelly’s “Brass Knuckles” CD delayed…again

brass.jpgNelly fans have heard this a few times before, and are about to hear it again — his “Brass Knuckles” CD is seeing another delay.

The Aug. 19 CD is now moving to Sept. 16, the beginning of the music industry’s most competitive season.

“Brass Knuckles” was originally supposed to be a 2007 release. The latest move makes it a full year since the first release date.

During that time, various singles have come forth including “Party People” featuring Fergie, “Body on Me” featuring Ashanti, and “Stepped on My J’s” featuring Ciara and Jermaine Dupri. Nelly is currently featured on Rick Ross’ “Here I Am.”

All we can say is with all this tweaking and such going on, the finished “Brass Knuckles” should be completely on fire, and we can’t wait for it.

Well, actually we are waiting…

Really? This is so NOT a good look for him. I’m already ready to tape the J’s record off the radio like like this was 1989 and Majic 108 was still the hot station. What’s going on with his people and why can’t they seem to get things right with him.

Nelly is in LA this week. He was on my plane yesterday from STL to LAX with his entourage. He sat in first class with his body guard, Big B. There were accross the aisle from me.
Plane was full of hip hop / rapp singer.
Any ideas what is up in LA this weekend?

I heard it keeps getting pushed back because it’s not getting the response they want it to. Personally I don’t like anything I have heard so far. Thank God For Lil Wayne he has helped revive hip hop

his cd is taking forever. either he is putting something together with recently jailed out city spudd or he is really tweaking some songs up or something. i gotta admit though, all his tracks so far that has been released are not that bad. i really dig “stepped on my j’s” and “party people.” “body on me” and “long night” are the more slow type of songs he usually does and they’re not bad, but i wanna hear more country grammerish into this album.

Not bad?? Are you deaf?? That song whatsyaname sounded like a 3yr old wrote it. Nelly killed hiphop with that song. If he doesn’t come with something better than what he already put out then he should just stay at home for the rest of the year. Oh the LL impersanations are just sad.

Good thing Mr. Johnson, was on his job, we wouldnt know anything about it. most cd’s get pushed back more than once….we just never hear about it.

i just hope the brothers cd is hot and Derrty Ent, FINALLY allows the other artist on their roster to put some music out.

lil Wayne, hip hop, that funny! But he is the King of rap at the moment. that alone is scary.
