Nelly’s “Brass Knuckles” CD delayed…again
Nelly fans have heard this a few times before, and are about to hear it again — his “Brass Knuckles” CD is seeing another delay.
The Aug. 19 CD is now moving to Sept. 16, the beginning of the music industry’s most competitive season.
“Brass Knuckles” was originally supposed to be a 2007 release. The latest move makes it a full year since the first release date.
During that time, various singles have come forth including “Party People” featuring Fergie, “Body on Me” featuring Ashanti, and “Stepped on My J’s” featuring Ciara and Jermaine Dupri. Nelly is currently featured on Rick Ross’ “Here I Am.”
All we can say is with all this tweaking and such going on, the finished “Brass Knuckles” should be completely on fire, and we can’t wait for it.
Well, actually we are waiting…

Nelly’s tracks are really hit-and-miss with me, so it would make sense that his delays are due to responses that the album’s “not quite there”. Then again, it could be a marketing strategy to drum up more hype prior to its release.
