Set list: John Mayer at Verizon Wireless Amphitheater
John Mayer packed them into Verizon Wireless Amphitheater Thursday on the second stop of his new tour, which drew more than 13,000 fans.
The show was a memorable one, from what Mayer did with his “No Such Thing” and “Why Georgia”; his blues detour; his messing with the media; and the fact his girlfriend Jennifer Aniston was hanging out in the wings.
Here’s the set list from the Verizon Wireless Amphitheater show, as listed on Mayer’s web site.
“Waiting on the World to Change”
“Belief”
“Daughters ‘74″
“Bigger Than My Body”
“Slow Dancing in a Burning Room”
“Clarity”
“Crossroads”
“I Don’t Need No Doctor”
“Stop This Train”
“No Such Thing”/”Why Georgia”
“Stitched Up”
“Say”
Encore
“3×5″
“Vultures”
“Gravity”

I was at this show…and it was July 5, not the 4th like it says. And he did not play the songs listed above…nor in the same order. Know where I can get the real thing?
Hi Abbey,
I was at this show as well, reviewing it. And it was on Thursday, as I stated. It wasn’t Saturday the 5th. And it wasn’t Friday the 4th. And the songs listed are the songs as they were performed.
Maybe you were are a different show in a different city on a different date?

Abbey,
Please share with me some of what you had that night because it surely has you all mixed up girl. Let me guess, where you at the John Mayer show where little green men came out of spaceships too? Trust me honey…the show was on Thursday, July 3. Even PEOPLE magazine covered it and mentioned this particular show on it’s Friday online posting. Puff, puff, pass…
PS. Did you know that Brad and Jennifer are now divorced? That would be Brad Pitt, just in case.
be easy on Abbey - I believe she is thinking of the show at Verizon Wireless Music Center in NOBELSVILLE, INDIANA (NOT St. Louis) … which was on Saturday, July 5th. I do not know the set that was played, but I heard it was not the same set played in St. Louis.
Emily,
How cute of you to come to the Abbey’s defense. I am sure that anything is possible and I hope that she meant just that–because she clearly wasn’t referring to the John Mayer concert HERE in St. Louis. But you would think that she would automatically know that the music critic for the ST. LOUIS post dispatch would be talking about a concert HERE and not in Nobelsville, Indiana. No? After all it is called the ST. LOUIS Post for a reason (it’s greatest focus of news, sports, entertainment and such covers St. Louis and it’s surrounding areas). No? But, again, good looking out for Abbey.
So I’m guessing “Crossroads” is a cover since i couldn’t find it under john mayer. Anyone know who does the original?
