Sheryl Crow preps holiday CD
While Sheryl Crow’s St. Louis fans still patiently wait for her to make good on her canceled Fox Theatre concert last month, Crow has meanwhile announced plans for a holiday album.
Crow reunited with Bill Bottrell, her producer on her current “Detours” CD, for the holiday project.
It’s for the Hallmark series, and will be in Hallmark Gold Crown stores in September.
Crow told Billboard magazine “we grew up singing Christmas carols (with) four-part harmonies. Christmas wasn’t Christmas until the Christmas Eve service, and we all sang in the choir. It’s still that way.”
Crow tours with James Blunt this summer. No St. Louis date is listed on that schedule.
