Singers gear up for St. Louis Cabaret Conference
The St. Louis Cabaret Conference, a four-day event featuring nearly 30 area cabaret singers in performance, is Aug. 14-17 at the Bistro in Grand Center.
The conference, in its third year, aims to train and inform local singers interested in performing cabaret work at skilled and professional levels.
Visiting mentors from New York and Los Angeles will be in attendance.
The St. Louis Cabaret Conference lineup:
– Alumni Showcase, 8:30 p.m. Aug. 14
– Tim Schall, 8:30 p.m. Aug. 15
–Lina Koutrakos & Jason Graae, 8:30 p.m. Aug. 16
– 2008 Participatant Showcase, 7:30 p.m. Aug. 17
Tickets are $14-$35, available at the door and MetroTix outlets.
