Concert update: Neil Diamond at Scottrade postponed
Neil Diamond’s concert Friday at Scottrade Center has been moved to Sept. 10 because of doctor’s orders to rest his voice.
The singer has been diagnosed with acute laryngitis. A show at the Green Bay Resch Center in Wisconsin has also been postponed.
Tickets will be honored at the new dates, and refunds are available at point of purchase.

Kevin C. Johnson has covered the St. Louis' music and nightlife scene for the past decade.
It would had been nice to had the original date of the concert in the article.Get well ,Neil. The real legends of rock music are fewer and fewer,as the years go by.PS-Forever In Blue Jeans!!!

Woo Hoo,, September Morn,,, we danced until the night became a brand new day. Tickets will be available now. He’s a Hottie.
My Neil Diamond friends and I were really hyped to see his show this Friday, but at least he has scheduled a new date!
I always wondered how he could give so many concerts night after night without losing his voice! Neil, please get well so that we may go crazy on September 10th. For all of you who laugh about Neil…take a look at people of EVERY
AGE and families that attend. Even lots of young people!
I have been to about 11 or 12 concerts and it is quite a feat to acquire good tickets! This year, the ticket people are asking huge prices! Try to go and have fun!
I am so bummed that the concert had to be postponed as this my Birthday weekend and was so pumped to start the weekend off in style. I hope Neil recovers quickly and look forward to seeing him on the 10th - you are certainly worth the wait and would not miss it for the world!
