Diddy reality show casting comes to Blueberry Hill
P. Diddy may want you for his next reality show, “Star Maker.”
An open casting call is at 8 a.m. Aug. 26 at Blueberry Hill in hopes of casting the upcoming show. Unlike Diddy’s “Making the Band,” “Star Maker” is looking for one male and one female to sign to his Bad Boy Records.
The show is looking for all types of singers including R&B, pop, rock, and country.
Applicants at the open call at Blueberry Hill need to have a completed and signed application and release, which can be downloaded at www.mtv.com/ontv/castingcall. They should also be prepared to sing up to three songs either a capella, to a track, or with one instrument, and plan on being on site all day.
Resumes, head shots, and DVDs of performances aren’t required but are welcome.
Those who can’t make the open call should mail the application/release, a three-minute DVD labeled with a name and phone number, and a photo to Star Maker Casting, 11693 San Vicente Blvd., 3324, Los Angeles, Calif., 90049.
Applicants must be 18 or over.
The show is executive produced by Diddy and Mark Burnett of “Survivor” fame.
