We’re just loving the fact St. Louis comedian G-Thang is all over the new “Disaster Movie” opening Friday (and not screened in advance for critics).

G-Thang, once a staple on the comedy scene here seemingly only yesterday, has been in Los Angeles for six years making big moves including “Disaster Movie,” TV shows “Half & Half” and “All of Us,” an upcoming Comedy Central special, and a hosting slot on a comedy show on Master P’s upcoming Better Black TV network.

“God is good,” he says, thankful he’s able to make the living he’s making in Hollywood, and still remain humble.

Though he all, he’ll never forget his roots. “I’ll always represent St. Louis to the fullest. I appreciate all the ground work laid out by Cedric the Entertainer and others.”

He’ll return that outreach to others. “My mother tells me if a hand is closed into a fist, nothing can get in or get out. I’m going to open it up and show the same love.”

Read more about G-Thang in Friday’s Go section (formerly Get Out).

lol, it does seem just like yesterday G-Thang was running around town trying to make people laugh at little ‘whole-in-the-wall’ spots…

i hope the brother has a lot of success….
