We’ve waited way too long for the Pumpkins to grace this city. I’m definitely with you on that one, it is about time!

Although D’Arcy and James really brought nothing to the band musically, they looked cool and took the attention away from how ugly Billy Corgan is. He should bring them back. But Im with you guys, its about time.

“Although D’Arcy and James really brought nothing to the band musically”

How wrong you are. If youre a Pumpkins fan you know that Billy and James pushed each other musically. They always had tension between the two and it showed in the music which is one of the reasons why early Pumpkins stuff was so good and diverse. I still like their sound, but now that Billy has free reign there really is no pushing of boundaries as there would be with James still around.

Except for the fact that Corgan is an egomaniac and a complete puzzy. Does anyone remember the riverport concert (pointfest or lalapalooza) where he whined and cried pretty much the entire time because he didn’t think STL was loud enough or cheering them on…Loved Gish, great album Siamese was good also. After that they went soft and have put out garbage ever since..my $0.02

One my favorite Simpsons jokes ever……’Hi I’m Billy Corgan, Smashing Pumpkins.’ Homer responds ‘Homer Simpson, smiling politely.’

I thought Gallagher was the guy who smashed the pumpkins, not this Billy Corrigan dude. I don’t mind there are two who do it, though. That is great comedy.
