Concert update: Carrie Underwood at Chaifetz tickets on sale Sept. 19
As tipped in this space in June, Carrie Underwood will perform at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 5 at Chaifetz Arena at St. Louis University.
Little Big Town is opening.
Tickets are $35-$55, on sale at 10 a.m. Friday Sept. 19, at MetroTix outlets, www.metrotix.com, 314-534-1111, and at the box office.
The “American Idol” winner has gone on to become the biggest new artist in country music the last few years, with CDs such as “Carnival Ride” and “Some Hearts.”
Underwood holds several Grammy Awards, among other awards.
Kevin C. Johnson has covered the St. Louis' music and nightlife scene for the past decade. 
She is probably the best American Idol by far, or at least most current and relevant. Glad to read that she is coming through St. Louis. What a country-music loving town we are. I am surprised though that she is at Chaifetz. I would have expected her to be at The Fox. Great pic of her here…
