Concert update: LeAnn Rimes off Kenny Chesney show at Verizon
Country singer Miranda Lambert will replace LeAnn Rimes at the Kenny Chesney concert Thursday night at Verizon Wireless Amphitheater.
Tickets are still available for $41.75-$80 at Ticketmaster outlets, www.ticketmaster.com, 314-241-1888, and at the box office.
Though no reason for the switch was given by concert producer Live Nation, Rimes recently disclosed she has psoriasis. Though she has been without symptoms for five years, she told People magazine “not only does that take a physical toll on your body, but it takes an emotional toll.”

As much as I like Leann, I like Miranda, too. Not a bad trade-off
Thanks Amanda…I wondered what you thought about the change!
Ok, even if that was the reasoning for cancelling b/c she has psoriasis that’s totally bogus. I have that and all it is, is a skin condition. “Take’s a physical toll on your body?” How? what’s she talking about? It’s skin patches, it’s nothing serious at all and is very common now a days. Wow is all I can say.
Sarah….giver her a break.
Best country concert in St. Louis Thur night is at Blueberry Hill - Tift Merritt! I guess maybe call it Americana, but still the top show in town. Not fair to compare to Kenny Chesney, he’s pure cheese. Though he should never apologize for his success, it amazes me that such poor music (definitely NOT real country) is played on the radio and talent like Tift get the crumbs.
