A second go-round for the PLAY :stl Music Festival and Conference rolls out Sept. 18-20 in the Delmar Loop.
Ninety-nine bands from around the city, region, and beyond will perform throughout the Loop at Cicero’s, Blueberry Hill’s Duck Room and Elvis Room, the Delmar Lounge, Vintage Vinyl, Market in the Loop, and an outdoor stage on Leland Avenue.
Free panel discussions include running a band like a business and touring with gas prices at all-time highs, along with special panels on blogging and social networking for those with wristbands.
This year the event has a title sponsor, Webster University.
Admission to the performances is $15 for a three-day wristband, available at Loop businesses and on the event’s web site at www.playstlfest.com.
