St. Louis rockers Ludo crack the Billboard 200…finally
St. Louis rockers Ludo’s “You’re Awful, I Love You” CD at long last, has cracked the Billboard 200, at No. 166.
The new milestone comes as the band’s debut Def Jam/Island single “Love Me Dead” continues its long climb up Billboard’s Modern Rock Tracks chart, where it’s in the top ten, sharing space with the likes of Coldplay, Foo Fighters, and Weezer.
The rising success of Ludo can be attributed to several things including the use of “Love Me Dead” on promos for TV’s “House,” the band’s several TV appearances including a key one on “The Tonight Show,” and its touring this summer on the Vans Warped tour.
Ludo is a part of Pointfest on Sept. 20 at Verizon Wireless Amphitheater.
