Kevin C. Johnson has covered the St. Louis' music and nightlife scene for the past decade.
And this makes the main page headlines…why?
This is not a news story. It is an advertisement. Why is it under news storiies, and did they pay for this?
Am I the only one who doesn’t get that iParty business? Is this the Post or Blacktie St. Louis?
……………DITTO
Well… This being his column and all I can understand him wanting to mention an event at a business in St.Louis, at night, that is looking to raise money for a good cause…
I mean seriously! Does the music and nightlife columnist actually have the nerve to write about music and nightlife in St.Louis! Im stunned…
See above on the right where it says “Kevin C. Johnson has covered the St. Louis’ music and nightlife scene for the past decade.” That might be a clue as to why this appears in the paper…
Such a shame that none of you dolts will be driving in from West County to attend…
This is definitely a worthy cause. Who do you expect to pay for it? People with MS, who already can’t afford their meds? Why be so opposed to something created to help people who clearly have more stressors than you, considering that you have time to post a negative comment?
No one questions that it is a worthy cause. My comment related to why it was listed on the main page as one of the most important news items at that time. Also, I don’t live in West County. You should get over that labelling crap.
This donation line in the final line in an article about a party throw by a bar for its 4 year anniversary. It is an after-thought and not the focus of what was written. This article is not about helping MS, and thats why it should be a paid for advertisement.
Everyday is an anniversary for a business somewhere in this city and we also don’t give them free ads.
And who do you think your money would come from if we don’t drive in from the county? It’s not walking distance trade that keeps the Central West End humming.
