Concert update: AC/DC names opening act
The Answer
Metal legends AC/DC have tapped Irish band the Answer as the support act on their “Black Ice” tour, which comes to Scottrade Center Jan. 13.
The band’s “Never Too Late” EP/DVD will be released Nov. 11. “Never Too Late” is a preview of the band’s upcoming full set, “Highway or Hell,” which will be released next year.
In a statement, the Answer lead singer Cormac Neeson said: “It is an honor and privilege for the Answer to be offered the opportunity to support probably the greatest rock ‘n’ roll act on the planet. We are incredibly humbled.

Tickets for the Scottrade show are $92, on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday through Ticketmaster outlets, www.tickemaster.com, 314-241-1888, and at the box office.
