Nelly begins “CSI: NY” guest stint Wednesday
Rapper Nelly, who showed some real acting chops in “The Longest Yard” movie, begins a multi-episode arc on “CSI: NY” on Wednesday night’s show.
The episode is titled “Turbulence,” and promos for the episode have featuring Nelly’s song “Warrior.”
“CSI: NY” airs on CBS at 10 p.m. Wednesdays.
Plans are being made for a viewing party at his SkyBox restaurant the same night.
Nelly’s new CD is “Brass Knuckles.”

Kevin C. Johnson has covered the St. Louis' music and nightlife scene for the past decade.
So St. Louisians were blamed for his low selling album, will we be blamed if the ratings of CSI:NY are low too?
Who cares about a Nelly guest spot on a CBS drama. This is a music blog, maybe we can talk about how the Fleet Foxes are opening for Death Cab on Monday at the Fox and how they are one of the best yound bands in the country. No forget about that, let’s talk about a sub-par rapper pursuing a laughable acting career cause he once lived near us. This city has just awful taste in concers and music, and you are partly to blame.
John C. Kevinson…lmao!
Nelly is the worst! and his new cdc is laughable, forgot how awful his acting is
I think it’s great that Nelly is expanding his acting career. He is already an award winning, multi platinum album seller…i think he is making smart moves…like any investment, dont put all of your eggs in one basket! And im happy he picked one of my favorite shows…I love CSI…
