I can hardly think of a better way of spending St. Patrick’s Day on a college campus than buying a $150 ticket to see four cats about three times the ages of Mizzou students standing straight up, not moving one inch, meandering through about 21 songs off their latest CD before they lift the roof with Desperado. No, this would be the perfect day to honor Saint Patrick, to woof down many pints and a corned beef and cabbage buffet before settling in to watch those Smiling Eagles (see above) rally the campus and all of middle America. Put me down for two tickets and I join me for a drunken Irish Jig during Peaceful Easy Feeling.

This will be a great show! Just remind me to stand upwind of you after that CB&C buffet. I’ll also stand upwind of Joe Walsh, who must be about 107 and looks every rough mile of the path. Come on babeeee, don’t say mabeeeee…

So now that they’ve toured all the major cities and secondary cities, they’re now downgrading to small markets in an attempt to squeeze every last dollar out of their “fans”. Next summer, they might be coming to a county fair near you! (as long as you’re willing to pay $100/ticket)

I seen the “Eagles” in 1979 in Hawaii and if you know Hawaii, that was a heck of a concert to attend. After all of these years and a owner of many of their albums, I hope I can make it to the concert at Mizzou. You, that call them old, duh… You just do not know the good oldess but goodees music. Why did you even comment? Get a life.

I raised my son on oldes but goodes music, and I wish we could go to see the “Eagles” together. Daniel, and I would sing along to their songs. In this economy today, we do not need for people to make bad comments on the legendary eagles, you get a life people. I seen the band in Hawaii before Daniel was born in 1980 and what a concert that was. Daniel, I love you!
