Concert update: Larry the Cable Guy tickets discounted
Larry the Cable Guy’s St. Louis fans are getting a price break.
Select seats for his “Eat, Drink and Be Larry” tour, coming to the Fox Theatre Jan. 17, are half price in what’s described as an “economic recovery package.”
This special is valid now through midnight Dec. 31, and includes seats in the lower, middle and upper balcony only. There is a limit of four tickets per order using this discount.
Tickets are at Metrotix outlets, www.metrotix.com, 314-534-1111, and at the box office.

Kevin C. Johnson has covered the St. Louis' music and nightlife scene for the past decade.
I dont see the discounted price reflected on the metrotix website. Is there another site or promotion code that I need to use?
SBJ,
My Fox rep says you are in the right place. Those discounted tixs are through MetroTix. But the rep wonders if you are trying to purhcase orchestra seats, which are not discounted. The discounts only applies to lower, middle and upper balcony seating.

Whoop-de-doo. If you’re excited about this you’re the lowest common denominator…
patrick then why are you reading this blog if you are not interested. Good for Larry
If these are the discounted prices I would hate to see the regular prices. Economic recovery package???? Yeah Right!!! If you can afford this then you obviously don’t have any problems with the economy!
I tried to purchase all 3 balcony levels through Metrotix.com & the price is the same as the original purchase price, there is no discount reflected. 2 tickets in the middle & upper balcony are almost $100 after service charges…..
Found it! If you go to the metrotix website and select “comedy” and “Fox Theatre - St. Louis” and search, you get two results, the first of which is Larry the Cable Guy. Click on the link & it takes you to the description of the show, show times, etc. Larry’s pic is on the left of the screen and a light blue box on the right of the screen shows the original (full) price for the tickets. In the CENTER of the screen, in white print on a royal blue background there is a sentence that says “Click here for a Special Offer” with a link. From there, you can get the tickest for 1/2 price. Hope this helps all the Larry fans out there. Think I’ll have to pick up some tickets for Christmas gifts. GIT-R-DONE!
Thanks STL mommy! While I’m not a big enough fan to pay full price, the sale is a good deal. I saw him 3 or 4 years ago at the Fox & it was a great show!
