St. Louis rockers Story of the Year have been a little too quiet for my taste, but they’re revving things up again with its new single/video for “The Antidote,” one of the stronger cuts from the group’s “The Black Swan” CD.

On the band’s web site, the band writes of the video:

“We love the way it turned out. It’s the cheapest video we’ve ever made and it’s probably collectively our favorite. I think we look almost as cute as the Jonas Brothers. We’re officially releasing ‘The Antidote’ single along with the video and a b-side named ‘The Virus’ on iTtunes.

“So if you want to hear an unreleased SOTY track that didn’t make it on ‘The Black Swan’ then head over there. We’re working out our 2009 touring plans as we speak. There are still a lot of cities that we need to hit up before this record cycle is over.”
