Sheldon Concert Hall home to gospel documentary
The Sheldon Concert Hall will be the setting for “Where the River Meets the Son,” a documentary spotlighting the quartet-style of gospel singing.
The filming takes place at 5 p.m. Dec. 28 at the Sheldon.
“It’s a music art form that is starting to die off a bit, so we thought it woud be important to get it documented,” says the Sheldon’s Dale Benz.
Performing are the Joyfuletts, Ce Ce, Tavy & Cuddles, New Gospel All Stars, Dynamic Silver Wings, Brian Taylor & Anointed Ones, Jemell Rainer & New Vision, Sisters in Christ, and the Faithful Few.
Tickets are $7 at the door, and doors open at 4 p.m. for the event, produced by the Sheldon and Reflex Media Solutions.
