“Disaster Movie” with St. Louis’ G-Thang on DVD today
Those who missed “Disaster Movie” when it hit theaters this summer, and chances are you did, can catch it when it’s released on DVD today.
The film features St. Louis comedian Gary “G-Thang” Johnson.
The movie also features Matt Lanter, Kim Kardashian, Carmen Electra, and Vanessa Minnillo, and takes on this summer’s big movies including “The Dark Knight,” “Hancock,” “Sex and the City” and “Iron Man.”
The movie grossed only $14 million during its quick run in theaters.
How long before Hollywood does a parody of these parody movies?

Kevin C. Johnson has covered the St. Louis' music and nightlife scene for the past decade.
We didn’t bite the first time you mentioned it, Kevin. Did you think things would have changed in the new year? Enough already with these silly parody flicks.
To anyone reading this, please do society a favor and do NOT see this movie. It’s currently ranked #2 in the worst movies of all time list at imdb.com with a 1.4 rating (out of 10). It’s only when we speak with our pocketbook that Hollywood stops crap like this.
I think I may have stopped at “Epic Movie”
That picture looks like a disaster! lol
Why Kevin? Why?
Did G-Thang call and beg for you to do this or what…LOL
i agree with ms stl, sounds like g-thang needed a plug for his career.
should we be concerned about his well being? maybe send g-thang some ramen?
