The upcoming Grammy ceremony just keeps getting bigger and better.
U2 has been added to the list of performers, along with Rihanna, Kid Rock, and Robert Plant and Alison Krauss.
They join previously announced performers Coldplay, Paul McCartney, Jonas Brothers, Kenny Chesney, Radiohead, Jennifer Hudson, Katy Perry, Justin Timberlake, Carrie Underwood, and a special segment featuring Jay-Z, Kanye West, T.I., and Lil Wayne.
Samuel L. Jackson, Gwyneth Paltrow, Simon Baker, Jack Black, Duffy, and Charlie Haden are the first round of presenters announced.
Additional presenters, performers, and special segments will be announced.
The awards are Feb. 8 on CBS.

Kevin C. Johnson has covered the St. Louis' music and nightlife scene for the past decade.
Kid Rock…what a year this guy has had based on one feel-good jam…even my grandmother likes the song!
yes he did have quite the unexpected “comeback!” Who knew?
I was really hoping in my heart of hearts that Plant/Krauss were going to be added as performers. Raising Sand is such a wonderful album and I’m guessing there was some kind of cut off date that it qualified for 2008 even though it was released in 2007.
