Poll: What do you think of Eminem’s new song “Crack a Bottle”?
Eminem is back on the scene after an absence equaling a lifetime in rap years.
His opening shot from his upcoming CD “Relapse” is “Crack a Bottle,” which has just leaked online, again (other versions leaked previously).
My first response — is that all there is? The track, featuring both Dr. Dre and 50 Cent, is listenable enough but average at best. It sounds like something Eminem, or Dr. Dre or 50 Cent for that matter, could’ve done before.

Thanks for putting this song on here. I sure hope there are better songs than this on the new album. I’m a fan of these 3 but I am disappointed. They could’ve done WAY better.
Sounds like they mailed this one in. The beat is mediocre, the hook is ho-hum and the track as a whole just feels lazy. Not impressed!
Momma always said if you dont have anything nice to say don’t say nothing at all…
Mailing it in is an understatement. It’s horrible.
Let’s all crack a bottle, raise them high and pour just a little out in memory of what could have been a hot track. I do hope, though, to hit the lotto!
That’s just sad…..
the song’s not bad it needs work but da beat’s killer
I am so not a fan of the explicative-laden rap scene, but I usually like Eminem mostly because I love that he enunciates and I don’t have to wonder about what he’s saying. It’s not just random four-, five- and six-letter words flying around, there’s a story and I can follow it and his videos are usually clever, but I digress.
So this is not interesting. I sounds like he cooked it up in his mom’s trailer with a borrowed mixer from Vanilla Ice. Not good.
And I know it’s just me, but I know I’m missing some innuendo about the bottle and the condoms, but I can’t be bothered to listen to it again and figure it out.
Otherwise, nice picture of Em, he looks quite cute. Lighting is everything.
That should be expletive-laden, I suck at spelling.
I agree, Kev…definitely sounds like something that should’ve been on one of his 1st cd’s. I’d expect something much more progressive…something to show that he’s grown while on hiatus. I’ll sleep on this until you instruct otherwise…thanks.
